ENROLMENT OFFICER

Papakura High School requires a highly motivated and multi-skilled individual to be responsible for the welcome, processing and follow up of new enrolments to our school.

The position entails making appointments for new families and whānau to visit, enrolling students and ensuring a smooth transition to high school. Sound computer skills are required as maintenance of the school roll and Ministry returns are included. The successful applicant must have a current driver’s licence as an ongoing liaison with families and whānau is an important part of this role.

Applicants for the enrolment officer position must show a high level of cultural competence and fluency in te reo Māori and/or a Pacific language is highly desirable. Sensitivity to and respect for the communities within our school are extremely important attributes that we are looking for.

Hours of work: 8:30am - 4:00 pm Mon - Fri, term time only incl. one week before school starts in Jan/Feb and one week after school finishes in December (42 weeks), commencing 21 Jan 2019.

Salary range will be dependent on previous experience.
