Are you ready to see how learning is changing? This year, Papakura High School is doing things differently.
On our Enrolment Day this Thursday, 18th June, we are setting up a dedicated Virtual Reality (VR) Demo Booth just for our incoming Year 8 students and their families. Instead of just reading about a subject, you can put on a headset and experience it firsthand!
Papakura High is incredibly proud to be the only school in South Auckland integrating regular, immersive VR sessions directly into our everyday teaching. It is now a core part of how we learn, helping students dive deeper into:
- STEAM & Digitech: Visualizing complex science and tech concepts in 3D.
- Careers: Virtually stepping into real-world work environments to explore future paths.
- And so much more across our everyday school subjects.
