For All Teaching Vacancies

New Zealand teacher registration and certification would be an advantage but is not a prerequisite for applicants. However, the successful applicant will need to obtain this before commencing.

New Zealand trained teachers may be eligible to apply for a Voluntary Bonding Scheme offered by the MOE. This offers a significant financial boost for teachers.

The terms and conditions, including base salary, for all teaching positions is set by the Secondary Teachers’ Collective Agreement (STCA). The base salary for trained and registered teachers will range from $62k to $100k+, depending on applicant’s qualifications and experience. Individuals actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed.

Relief Teachers

We are always looking for qualified and enthusiastic teachers to join our pool of day-to-day relief teachers to start immediately, all subjects.

Previous experience working in a low decile school or kura an advantage but not a prerequisite. You must be available at short notice and readily able to be contacted by phone.
