We are looking for a full time, permanent teacher for our homeroom programme. Would ideally suit a primary trained teacher.
Knowledge of the New Zealand curriculum and New Zealand teaching experience would be an advantage, ideally in a high equity index school or similar environment.
This programme is for students at risk of disengaging from education and has proven highly successful in supporting students to remain at school and obtain NCEA qualifications, who may otherwise not have. If you possess the following attributes, we would love to receive an application from you:

* strong relationship building skills
* previous experience working with Māori and/or Pasifika students

The terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position is set by the Secondary Teachers Collective Agreement. The base salary for trained and registered teachers will range from $66k to $103k, depending on applicant’s qualifications and experience. Individuals actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed.
