Youth Worker

 We are looking for a Youth Worker to join our Pastoral Care & Wellbeing/Hauora Team.

This is a fixed term contract starting as soon as possible by negotiation and finishing on the last day of Term 4, 2027, with the possibility of extending the contract beyond that date.

Your hours of work will be 40/week, term time only.

  • The successful candidate will be a dynamic and highly motivated individual with a passion for working with young people.
  • You will have strong cultural competency to be relevant to our Māori and Pasifika students, who make up a large proportion of our student body.
  • You will be passionate about the achievement and wellbeing of our students 
  • You will be able to adapt to changing methods of communicating with students and whānau and 
  • Work independently as well as as part of a team.

The successful application will be subject to a Police Vetting check and the offer of appointment will remain conditional until a satisfactory result has been returned.
