From The Principal

Nau mai, haere mai ki te Kura Tuarua o Papakura.

Welcome to Papakura High School, where we embrace diversity and foster a vibrant, inclusive community where students from various cultural backgrounds feel a sense of belonging and mutual respect.

Our dedicated staff are committed to engaging students through a range of academic programs and extracurricular activities that celebrate and integrate cultural richness. By nurturing students’ talents and interests, we help them achieve their goals and become responsible, well-rounded individuals.

Each young person who walks through the gate will be supported to be their best self and to challenge themselves in a positive learning environment. We endeavour to provide programmes that meet the needs of every learner.

Papakura High is a growing school. Our roll is increasing steadily every year. Our recent report from the Education Review Office speaks of, “a student-centred, culturally responsive and inclusive school culture,” and, “significant progress in lifting student achievement in NCEA certificates.”

I would encourage you not to take my word for it. We would love you to visit our school so you can see for yourself. You are most welcome!

Ngā mihi mahana ki a koutou.
